Bio: Weluna Q. Finley, LPC, PMH-C is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Virginia owner of NuPathways Counseling Services, LLC where she provides private therapy services, consultation, and community education. In 2017 she decided to pursue her longtime dream of becoming a midwife. It is her hope that she can combine her specialized mental health skills and knowledge and midwifery skills and training in order to expand her services to the specialized treatment of women throughout the child-bearing age.
Weluna has a passion for community engagement and addressing issues such as race-related disparities, mental health education, and the power of community building and healing through education and social advocacy.

This was/is a session full of great African knowledge and experiences of Homebirth, Midwifery and Post Partum from multiple aspects. I’m willing a Part Two into existence because I know there is more that can be covered on these subjects. It resparked a longing in me to go n catch babies and take care of mamas, babas and families.
